Real builds your student finishes and can actually show.
Ten step-by-step builds across three levels. Your student starts with a traffic light, works up to a weather station that shows real temperature and humidity, and finishes with a fan that turns on by itself when it hears sound. Each build is made to be finished, not left in a box. The last one is the big one and it comes with a write-up guide that turns it into a project they can show.
The pattern you're trying to avoid
Most "STEM projects" end in the same place: a box in the garage.
A big electronics kit looks like a lot for your money, hundreds of parts, dozens of mini-projects. But that's the trap. Thirty quick starts don't add up to one finished project. A kit that's only half-explored quietly teaches a kid that they don't finish what they start. What counts isn't a pile of parts. It's one real thing they built, finished, and can explain.
Two endings, one decision
Left: the component-dump kit, six months later — fun for a weekend, then loose parts nobody can point to.
Right: one advanced build, finished and documented — a working device your kid made, photographed, and can talk through in an interview.
The Capstone Kit is designed, on purpose, to produce the second one.
Why "one deep build" is the right bet now
The credentials that used to stand out became the baseline.
None of this promises a project gets anyone admitted. It's that a finished, documented build is legible evidence of ability — the difference between saying your kid is capable and showing the working thing they made.
Everything for one build — nothing to source
Ten focused builds. Not a sampler.
Every part you need comes pre-sorted and labeled. No hunting for a missing resistor, no leftover pieces to lose interest in. The kit walks your student through ten builds across three levels, starting with a traffic light and working up to the capstone: a sound activated fan. Each one is made to be finished, and each one they wire, program, and get working with their own hands.

01
Built to be finished Scope is deliberately one project, not thirty, so "done" is reachable in real weekends.
-
02
Complete & pre-sorted All components included and organized — correct resistors for every job, nothing to order separately.
-
03
Genuinely advanced Depth an admissions reader and an interviewer can actually follow — not "blink an LED."
The two things cheaper kits leave out
A guide good enough to finish — and the write-up that makes it count.
The build guide
A bound, LEGO-style, step-by-step manual engineered so reaching the end is the default, not the exception. Clear diagrams, one action per step, checkpoints along the way. This is where "another abandoned project" gets designed out.
The portfolio layer
A finished device on a desk isn't a portfolio project yet. It becomes one when it's written up. Your student gets a project write-up template to adapt for applications, a demo & photo guide, and an interview talking-points sheet — so the build travels into the places it needs to.
A finished project is evidence of ability in a way a transcript isn't — something your student can document, photograph, and explain to anyone who asks what they can build.
Founder's Edition
Why only 100.
We're a new company, and we don't bulk-order parts we haven't proven yet. Each Founder's Edition kit is assembled and tested by hand before it ships. 100 is simply how many we can build and stand behind in this first run.
When they're gone, they're gone until the next batch, and we won't fake a countdown to rush you. You're not getting manufactured urgency — you're getting one of the first 100, hand-built and checked before it ships.

For context, families in this position already spend on enrichment: the average comprehensive college-consulting package runs ~$6,500, and independent consultants commonly charge $140–$600/hour. This kit leaves behind a finished, documented project. No admissions claim implied or made.

Questions a skeptical parent should ask
Why only 100 units?
Because we hand-assemble and test each one before it ships, and we won't bulk-order parts for a product we haven't proven with real customers yet. 100 is what we can build and genuinely stand behind in this first run. It's a real limit, not a marketing trick — when the counter hits zero, it's sold out until the next hand-built batch.
Is this too hard for my kid?
It's advanced on purpose — that's what makes it worth showing. But "advanced" and "unfinishable" aren't the same. The guide is one-action-per-step with checkpoints, and Founder's Edition buyers get a direct line to the founder if they get stuck. If your student can follow careful instructions, they can finish this. No prior soldering or coding mastery required.
Does this guarantee my kid gets into a better school?
No — and we'd walk away from anyone who claims otherwise. Admissions decisions depend on countless things no kit controls. What this produces is real, honest evidence of ability: a finished device plus a write-up your student can point to. How much that helps, and how they use it, is up to them.
Why does this cost more than a 200-piece kit?
You're not buying part count — on raw components, the big kits win, and we'll say so plainly. You're buying one focused build that actually gets finished, a guide engineered to get there, and the write-up/demo/interview layer that turns a device into a portfolio project. That documentation layer is what the cheap kits don't include, and it's the part that travels into an application.
What actually gets built, and how fast does it ship?
Ten guided builds that step up in difficulty, from a traffic-light sequencer to a sound-activated oscillating fan that switches on when it hears you. Real, functional devices with genuine depth, each engineered to be finished. Because every Founder unit is hand-assembled and checked by a person, we ship in small batches; current timing is shown at checkout, real dates, never a fake countdown.
One of the first 100. Finished. Theirs.
Not another box of parts. One real project your student can hold, explain, and point to — hand-built, numbered, and backed by a guarantee on the build.
